Krorëz Private Beach. The signature stop of the DES Boat Tour
Free sunbeds, free umbrella, and 2 hours of free time on the beach exclusive to DES guests — here's how the Krorëz stop works.
What makes Krorëz different from other Riviera beaches
Krorëz is a pale-pebble beach on the southern Albanian Riviera, hemmed in by cliffs and reachable only by sea. Every DES Boat Tours guest gets a reserved sunbed and umbrella at our section of the beach — no rental fee, no scramble for a spot in high season. It's the reason repeat guests come back to us instead of switching to a rival tour.
Is the sunbed really free?
Yes — it's included in the €30 per-person price. Elsewhere on the Riviera a sunbed and umbrella will run you €10-20 for the day. At Krorëz it's already yours the moment you step off the boat, held under your name for the full 2-hour stop.
Food and drinks at the beach
There's a small beach bar with fresh seafood, salads, and cold drinks. Cash only (euros or Albanian lek). Free drinks continue on the boat for guests who prefer to keep it simple and eat back on board — no obligation to buy anything on the beach.
Getting there without the boat
There's a rough dirt track from the highway but it's often impassable and not signed. Nearly every visitor at Krorëz has arrived by sea from Sarandë. If you're staying in Sarandë for a few days and Krorëz is the beach you most want to see, the DES Boat Tour is the direct route.
How Krorëz anchors the itinerary
Krorëz is stop 5 of 8 — the middle of the day and by far the longest stop. After Krorëz we head to Gjiri i Ushtarit, then Rrojdhe and finally the Secret Beach at golden hour before returning to Sarandë harbour.
