Boat tour
Sea Cave Boat Tour from Sarandë

The Sarandë coast hides some of the Mediterranean's most cinematic sea caves. Our full-day boat tour glides slowly into Turtle Cave and Anchor Cave so every guest gets the shot, then continues along the Albanian Riviera for a full day of swimming, snorkeling and Krorëz private beach.

Boat tour

Skip the crowded Sarandë beaches and spend the afternoon on a private stretch of Krorëz reserved exclusively for our guests. Sunbeds and umbrellas are already set up when you arrive, drinks are flowing, and the water is the same colour as the postcards.

Better Than Ksamil: The Southern Riviera Boat Tour

Ksamil is beautiful but packed by 10am. Our tour heads the other way, down the wilder southern Riviera, where you'll find the coves ferry tours don't reach: Kakome Bay, Krorëz private beach, Rrojdhe, Turtle Cave and Anchor Cave.

Boat tour
Kakome Bay Boat Tour from Sarandë

Pine-covered hills wrap a curve of impossibly clear water, that's Kakome. It's the longest swim stop on our full-day cruise and one of the most photographed spots on the Albanian Riviera. We anchor in the middle of the bay so every angle is a postcard.

Boat tour
Full-Day Boat Tour from Sarandë

This is the full DES Boat Tours day, eight legendary stops along the Albanian Riviera, from the sea caves south of Sarandë down to Krorëz private beach and hidden southern coves. Everything is included: drinks, snorkel gear, sunbeds, umbrella, expert local captain.

Boat tour
Boat Tour from Sarandë to Ksamil (and the Wilder Coves Beyond)

Looking for a Sarandë-to-Ksamil boat tour that goes further than the postcard? Ours pushes past the crowded Ksamil islets into the wilder southern Riviera — Krorëz private beach, Kakome Bay, Rrojdhe and Gjiri i Ushtarit — the coves the big ferries never reach.

Boat tour
Half-Day Boat Tour from Sarandë

A shorter Sarandë boat tour for cruise-ship days, families with small kids or anyone who wants a taste of the Albanian Riviera without a full day on the water. We focus on the caves and one long swim stop, then head back in time for lunch in town.

Boat tour
Sunset Boat Tour from Sarandë

A slower, more romantic Sarandë boat tour timed for golden hour. We cruise the cliffs south of Sarandë as the light turns pink over Corfu, drinks in hand, no rush, no crowds. Ideal for couples, small groups and anyone who's already done the full-day tour and wants to see the coast in a different light.

Itinerary FAQ

Planning your day on the water

The details guests ask most before locking in the 8-stop Sarandë boat tour.

How long is the Sarandë boat tour?+

About 5 hours in total. We depart from Sarandë port in the morning and return in the early afternoon, covering the full southern Riviera in one relaxed trip.

How many stops are on the itinerary?+

Eight: Turtle Cave, Anchor Cave, Kepi i Qefalit, Kakome Bay, Krorëz private beach, Gjiri i Ushtarit, Rrojdhe and a Secret Beach — every stop is chosen for clear water, shade or a swim.

How much time do we actually spend swimming?+

Across the caves, coves and Krorëz private beach you get roughly three to four hours in the water. Snorkelling gear is on board and included.

Do we visit Ksamil on this tour?+

The DES route focuses on the quieter southern coast beyond Ksamil — the caves, the private Krorëz beach and hidden bays the crowds don't reach. We can adjust on request if a Ksamil stop matters to you.

Is lunch included, or do we bring our own?+

Lunch isn't included in the €30 price. We stop at Krorëz where a beachfront kitchen serves fresh Albanian food and drinks; you're also welcome to bring your own picnic.

Can the captain adjust the itinerary during the day?+

Yes. The 8 stops are our standard route, but the captain reads the sea and the group. If you want longer at one cove, or to swap a stop, just ask on board.

What happens if the weather is bad?+

Safety first — if the sea isn't right, we reschedule you for another day or refund in full. You'll never lose money to weather with DES Boat Tours.

What's included in the price of the tour?+

Your seat covers the full 5-hour cruise, all 8 stops, snorkelling gear, life jackets, fuel, taxes and the crew. On top of that we throw in three perks free of charge: free drinks on board, and at Krorëz private beach a free sunbed and a free umbrella per guest.

Are drinks really free on board?+

Yes — cold water, soft drinks and a welcome drink are included for every guest, refilled throughout the day. You never pay extra for anything from the on-board cooler.

Do I have to pay for a sunbed or umbrella at Krorëz beach?+

No. Krorëz is our private beach for DES guests, and every seat on the boat comes with a reserved sunbed and umbrella at no extra cost — you won't be asked to rent anything when you step off the boat.

Is snorkelling equipment included?+

Yes. Masks and snorkels for every guest are on board and free to use at every swim stop — no rental fee, no deposit.

Everything about boat tours in Sarandë & the Albanian Riviera

Sarandë boat tours

The highest-rated Sarandë boat tour on the Albanian coast

Looking for the best boat tour in Sarandë or searching Google for Saranda boat tours? DES Boat Tours departs daily from Sarandë harbour and covers the wildest stretch of the Ionian coast, sea caves, hidden coves, and our own private beach at Krorëz. Small groups, expert local captain, everything included for €30.

Guests consistently rate us the #1 boat trip in Sarandë because we skip the crowded ferry routes and take you to spots most operators don't know about, including Secret Beach, only reachable by boat.

Albania boat tours

Why the Albanian Riviera beats Croatia, Greece & Ksamil ferries

The Albanian Riviera is the last unspoiled coastline in the Mediterranean. Water clarity rivals the Maldives, prices are a fraction of Croatia or Greece, and the coves stay quiet even in high season. DES Boat Tours is proudly local, an Albania boat tour run by Sarandë captains who grew up on these waters.

Compared to a packed Ksamil ferry, you get a small-group experience, real free time at Kakome Bay and Gjiri i Ushtarit, and a captain who actually pauses for photos.

Private boat itinerary

Private boat tours & custom itineraries from Sarandë

Prefer a private boat tour in Sarandë? We run private charters for families, couples and small groups, same 8 stops or a fully custom itinerary. Sunset cruises, wedding proposals, half-day snorkeling loops, or a Ksamil detour on request.

Every private itinerary still includes free drinks on board, life jackets, snorkeling gear, and access to Krorëz private beach with reserved sunbeds and umbrellas.
