No. The entrances are too narrow. That's why most Saranda tours only pass by the caves without going in.

Do I need to swim to enter the caves?

No — you enter on the boat. You can then jump in to snorkel if you want.

When is the Blue Cave at its best?

Between roughly 10:30 and 12:00 when the sun angle lights up the interior. Our itinerary is timed for that.
